MedYacht launched its boat brand in 2012 with the creation of the MED48, designed by French architect Gilles Vaton. Buoyed by its success , the MED48 will evolve in size and technical characteristics in 2014 , to come out with a new model : the MED52, which will replace the MED48 from summer 2016. The MED42 will complete the MED range in September 2021 and will have its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

MED boats, from conception to success

In 2011, the CEO of MedYacht with a desire to design a boat specific to his ideas and establish itself in high-end yachting and to meet growing demand of the market . The first boat was presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival and responded to the sporty and chic yachting trend of the time . The first MED quickly seduces the public with its sleek design . The public and the press hail the character of the boat as well as the comfortable accommodation of this unit .

The first series of MEDs was built in Bahrain and was a success with around ten units sold . An honorable number in this niche of the 15 meter open speedboat for which the competition is fierce and very creative .

MedYacht reinvents high-end yachting with the MED52

In 2014, the MED concept is redefined as well as the manufacturing process. MedYacht is growing and the desire for a new unit is being heard. In this sense, the boats are built in Poland, at the Galeon Shipyard. The fact of having relocated production to Europe has many advantages , including better tracking and shorter distances.

In an ever more demanding and competitive niche of the great Mediterranean open waters , MedYacht's desire was to create a unit with a real identity. In just a few years , MedYacht has managed to impose its style thanks to the design of the MED52 and its high-performance hull signed by the French architect Gilles Vaton.

The MED52 retains the general modern and elegant spirit of the MED line while enhancing the habitability and level of comfort on board . The interior fittings benefit from a stylistic boost with a plurality of possible customizations . To date, over 20 units of the MED52 have been sold.

In 2021, MedYacht is developing its entry - level with the arrival of the MED42 with irreproachable quality and a competitive price. The MED42 is placed on the highly coveted 42 - foot day-boat market . It has benefited from the professionalism of Italian designer Enrico Gobbi and Gilles Vaton for the hull. The MED42 has been designed to offer the ultimate navigation experience and incorporates the codes of the most luxurious boats that can be found on the current market.

MedYacht, French engineering and design

MedYacht boats offer exceptional marine qualities and seakeeping. Integrated into a concept called «WALK AROUND», the units produced under the MedYacht brand all benefit from easy movement on board, luxury finishes, high quality materials and an inimitable style of the finest naval constructions.

All of the engineering and design of the MED42 and MED52 is carried out in France . The boats are produced in series and under license by the Galeon Shipyard in Poland, ensuring the MedYacht group an efficient and quality production chain , allowing the 42 and 52 foot models to be produced in quantity . MedYacht is one of the last independent French shipyards with its range of Med 52 and Med42 of 100% French design.
